What is Bracketeers?
Bracketeers is the most robust user generated bracket system around. Anyone with a Bracketeers username can build brackets on any topic they want. There is no limit to the number of brackets you can build. Once a bracket is built and activated, visitors to the site determine the bracket winner through round by round voting.

What is the point of Bracketeers?
The point is to have fun. If you're interested in a topic and what to know what other people think, this is a fun way to do it. Build your bracket and watch as real people determine the outcome of it. You may find that the bracket unfolded as you expected, or perhaps you'll be totally surprised by the results...Either way its fun!

Bracketeers may also help you figure out what you think. For instance, you may have thought that "Fake Plastic Trees" was your favorite Radiohead song, but in the "Best Radiohead Song" bracket you were struggling to pick a winner in the match up of "Idioteque" vs. "Fake Plastic Trees". Eventually you decided that you'd have "Idioteque" beat "Fake Plastic Trees" head to head, and presto - "Fake Plastic Trees" is no longer your favorite Radiohead song. The head to head, round by round bracket structure of Bracketeers may actually force you to reflect on your own opinions.

How are bracket winners determined?
Brackets consist of a number of challengers - 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64. The challengers are automatically paired off into head to head match ups where user votes determine the winner. The winners proceed to the subsequent round, and losers are out This happens all the way through the bracket until a single challenger is left, at which point they are the bracket winner.

How can I add a bracket to my blog or website?
Login to go to your Dashboard. (If you do not have a username, create one first and then login).

If the Bracket you want to add to your blog or website already exists, find it in the table of Active brackets. In the "Plugin" column on the far right side of the table (under "Active" brackets), click "Show". Copy (Control C) and Paste (Control V) the line of code generated by Bracketeers into your blog or website and you'll be all set. It's that easy.

If the Bracket you want to add to your blog or website does not yet exits, build it and then follow the same steps described above.

Please note, if you are embedding a bracket into your blog, you'll want to repost the same code at regular intervals so it shows up on the front page of your blog throughout the life of the bracket. For heavily trafficked blogs this will be more important so later rounds in the bracket are not buried on the blog.
